BackgroundIn celebration of the International Day of Volunteers, GO! AHON PILIPINAS INC. (GAPi) with the National Association of UNESCO Clubs in the Philippines Inc. (NAUCP Inc.), in partnership with the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur, National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), and National Youth Commission (NYC) will be spearheading the second Make A Difference Camp (MAD Camp 2013) on December 6-8, 2013 at the CamSur Watersports Complex, Pili, Camarines Sur.
With a theme, “Conquering Leadership Challenges of the 21st Century”, 300 leaders from universities and colleges, local government units, and youth organizations nationwide are expected to develop their leadership potentials towards “making a difference”. |
Objectives· deepen the awareness and develop understanding on the leadership challenges of the 21st Century;
· develop significant leadership skills and inspire leaders by integrating 4C’s of leadership development: Courage, Commitment, Character and Competence · encourage cooperation and volunteerism by promoting relevant advocacies and campaigns; and · promote collaboration among all sectors and levels towards a strong network of leaders and advocates. |
